Frequently Asked Questions

Is my tour private?

All of our helicopter tours are private and your experience is paramount to us. We want you to enjoy a memorable flight with the people you care to share it with. There are never any additional charges or fees to enjoy a private flight.

When should I arrive for my tour?

For all tours: please plan to arrive 30 minutes prior to your tour. This will allow you time to meet with your pilot and be prepped for your flight before departure.

For tours departing out of our Hyannis location: Enjoy complimentary refreshments in our comfortable lounge space while you wait for your helicopter tour. We overlook both runways at the airport, allowing for prime viewing of all the comings and goings—from big jets to small pleasure craft, it’s an exciting way to anticipate your takeoff!

Where does my tour depart from?

Where should I park?

Tours departing out of our Hyannis location: there is ample free parking for our customers. Come early to enjoy complimentary snacks and beverages.

Tours departing out of Katama Airfield: free parking is located at the airport. There is a resturant on-site—the Katama Kitchen—that serves fantastic food.

Tours departing out of Provincetown Airport: free parking is located at the airport.

Are there any restrictions for tours?

We require a two-ticket minimum on all tours. If you are a party of one, you may purchase two tickets.

There is a maximum weight restriction of 290lbs per passenger. There is also a maximum weight restriction per flight. Contact us for further details.

What should I wear?

Clothing appropriate to the season and weather. Our helicopter has heat and ventilation ensuring a comfortable flight. If flying doors-off during the summer, you may want to bring a light jacket or sweater—it’s surprisingly cool at altitude!

Can I bring my camera and take pictures?

Yes! We want you to make this a memorable experience that you can share with your family and friends! We encourage pictures before you even take off; our pilots would be happy to accommodate and take pictures for you. During your tour, document all of the beautiful sights the Cape has to offer!

If you are flying with our doors-off experience, we will provide you with complimentary phone lanyards so you can safely take photos during the flight. Please do not extend your hands outside the framing of the doors while taking photos to avoid injury.

We also offer a GoPro video service—imagine being able to relive your tour and share the experience with your loved ones! You can purchase this as an add-on during checkout. Your flight will be recorded from the outside of the helicopter and upon the conclusion of the tour, you will be given a micro-SD card to take home with you.

Are beverages permitted on the flight?

Bottled water only—and please take care to not spill!

We have champagne available (as an add-on purchase) that may be enjoyed either before or after your flight in our lounge (please advise us ahead of time so it can be prepared for you). Many customers enjoy toasting while watching the various helicopters and airplanes come and go!

Must I wear a seatbelt?

Seatbelts are REQUIRED at all times during your tour and must not be removed until directed by your pilot.

Can my child sit on my lap?

Only if under two years of age. Ages two and older require a full seat as they must use a seatbelt.

Are you open year-round?

We are open year-round (excepting Thanksgiving and Christmas)!

Though the summer months are extremely idyllic, you will find the other seasons just as captivating! Winter flying is magical, especially just after a snow storm. Our helicopters have heat, ensuring a warm way to experience the sights. In autumn when the leaves begin to change color and acres of cranberries are harvested, your eyes won’t believe the colors nature provides. Springtime offers a refreshing look upon the Cape Cod landscape, as new life begins to emerge and the area’s waterfront hustle and bustle starts back up again!

Are reservations required?

Reservations are preferred as some bookings are made days or weeks in advance. Weekend and sunset tours often book out far ahead.

Same-day tours are available, however they cannot be made online; but please give us a call and we would be happy to make the reservation with you over the phone!
